"Nukata" area is located in a hilly and mountainous area that occupies the eastern 40% of Okazaki City, also known as “Okuoka” area. Our produces are the outcomes of both the rich environment such as pure mountain water, clear streams where fireflies live, and fresh air, and the continuous efforts of the skillful producers who know the scarcity of local resources. Local rice from Zemanjo・Kikudashi town
Mineasahi is produced in extremely small quantities and is grown in the clear waters of the Oto River, the water source of Okazaki.
Local rice from Tokkawa town famous for its fireflies
"Iwa Squeezing - The Deliciousness of Water - Torikawaji'' Torikawa is home to many Genji fireflies flying around every year. This rice is made from the famous water that nurtures these fireflies. It's chewy and delicious even when it's cold.

We started growing rice in the Nukata area 50 years ago, and around 2012, we discovered EM bacteria and started farming with reduced pesticides. We do not use chemical fertilizers, reduce herbicides, and fight weeds by hand. This is delicious rice grown vigorously in rice fields sprinkled with EM activated liquid.

Mineasahi made by Yamada Farm. Kiriyama's large cedar tree (estimated to be over 1000 years old) is designated as a natural monument of Aichi Prefecture and is also very famous as a power spot. Mineasahi, grown in Kiriyama-cho, Okazaki City, is full of power! This delicious rice is filled with clean water and air.

“Toyotomi Megumi Rice”, grown by a local farmer and the elementary school students
This rice was made by Mr. Miura, a farmer, and the 5th grade students of Toyotomi Elementary School through experiences such as planting rice, observing rice growth, exploring waterways, and harvesting rice. We named this rice "Toyotomi Megumi Rice" because it is made from abundant water, soil, and human resources. I want to help the people who grow rice in Nukata.
